We are so proud to share five recent service dog placements! With the guidance of Hero Dogs trainers, these teams have worked hard to form working partnerships and loving bonds.

Hero Dogs Captain Robert Hogan, USN, aka Hero Dogs Hoagie, and U.S. Air Force Veteran Kim.

Hero Dogs Grace Derby Banker, aka Hero Dogs Derby, and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Ken.

Hero Dogs GEN Martin E. Dempsey, USA, aka Hero Dogs Dempsey, and correctional officer Tim.

Hero Dogs Andrew George McCabe, aka Hero Dogs George, and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Trinity.
A service dog helps a person with a disability achieve independence. The dog reduces that person’s reliance on other people by doing tasks that the person cannot do without assistance. Hero Dogs trains dogs to assist veterans and first-responders with physical disabilities, mobility limitations, hearing loss, and psychiatric disabilities.
