Two of the dogs I raised for Hero Dogs were released from the service dog training program.

They both came to live with me and have found their calling as excellent therapy dogs. Scotty has completed 450 therapy visits and Sammie has done 70+. โฃ

At the school where she volunteers, she is known as Sammie the Reading Dog who turns children into eager readers while teaching the them to love and respect dogs. Hero Dogs Scotty has touched the lives of hundreds of people in nursing homes and hospitals. He is very intuitive and always knows who needs a little extra attention or help.

As a naturalized US citizen, I always seeks ways of giving back to this extraordinary country that has adopted me. Volunteering with Hero Dogs gives me an opportunity to do that.
