As we approach the end of 2022, I am overwhelmingly filled with pride. We have had an extremely successful year of placing service dogs, who assist our Veterans and first responders in a number of different ways. I’ve had the opportunity to spend more time with our clients this past year and the comments I often hear are “this dog is my best friend” and “my Hero Dog literally saved my life.”
The work we do at Hero Dogs, across our service, facility, therapy, and breeding programs, is challenging, humbling, and beyond rewarding. It remains our goal to continue our steady growth while placing the healthiest, most highly skilled assistance dogs in the mid-Atlantic region. Quite simply, we cannot do this work without the continued support of our donors, volunteers, and staff. There are exciting things ahead for our Hero Dogs family and we invite you to be a part of it by making an annual gift.
