Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the risk of illness to our Hero Dogs community, we recently had to postpone our 10th anniversary celebration. Community events are canceled, and we have transitioned most dog training from in-person to online.
Because the safety and health of our volunteers, staff, and dogs are utmost importance to us, we have requested that our dedicated volunteers follow the state’s stay-at-home guidelines. Our awesome volunteer puppy raisers continue to work with the service-dogs-in-training every day. Staff are taking turns diligently training and providing around-the-clock care to the dogs in advanced training who live in our facility.
