Today Mike and Sue took Hero Dogs Sandy to the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg to visit the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial and pay respects to her namesake, Sander B Cohen. While visiting we saw several people who stopped and talked to us about Sandy. They were pleased to learn she’s in training to serve and help others as did Sander. Sandy left a kibble and her Hero Dogs card next to his name to pay respect to her Hero.
Afterwards we stopped at the #CatocinMountainOrchard where we saw pumpkins, fall flowers & decorations and lots of visitors. We got fresh apple pie, apple cider donuts and chilled apple cider. Yum!
Heading back down the mountain we visited #SpringfieldManorWinery&Distillery We enjoyed the awesome Mountain Views and stayed till the sun went down, met many new people and told them all about Hero Dogs and Hero Dogs Sandy.
