Update: Thanks to you, we had another successful Giving Tuesday and exceeded our fundraising goal! Ninety-one donors contributed over $18,000! We are so fortunate to have a community of supporters that values the work we do for veterans and first responders, their families, and countless others whose lives Hero Dogs touch.
The winner of the drawing to name a Hero Dogs puppy has been notified. Check out the drawing here!
As you may know, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is a big day for non-profit organizations. Supporters rally around the causes that mean the most to them and make contributions that further the work of likeminded organizations.
This year for Giving Tuesday, we are doing something we’ve never done before…
Donate for a chance to name a Hero Dogs puppy!
For a chance to win, make an online donation of $150 or more between now and Tuesday, November 28th at 11:59pm ET.
On Wednesday, November 29th, one of the dogs in Advanced Training will help us draw a winner. We will contact that winner by the end of the day Wednesday.
A few things to note:
- There’s no need to submit a name with your donation.
- The winner’s choice must follow Hero Dogs’ naming rules; we name dogs after veterans, first responders, or patriotic symbols. You can choose whether you want to name a girl puppy or a boy puppy.
- You get one chance to win for each $150 that you donate. A $450 donation gives you three chances. There is no limit to the number of entries.
- The dog’s official sponsor will be “Giving Tuesday 2023 Donors” and not the individual winner.
We would be so grateful if you would consider supporting Hero Dogs this Tuesday, November 28th.
If you’re on Facebook, please consider sharing and making a donation to our Giving Tuesday Facebook Fundraiser. We also gratefully accept donations here on our website and via Spur Local (formerly Catalogue for Philanthropy).
