Puppy Raisers for Hero Dogs Maddie

January 8, 2018 By Admin

I’ve been with my puppy raisers for almost 2 weeks. Things have been going really well. I thought being around other dogs was wild until I lived with 4 children. They are really wild but really fun. They totally adore me! Their friends at school go crazy when they see me, especially the patrols at carpool, they scream my name as soon as they see me.

I’ve been to the grocery store a couple of times for quick items. I once had to wait in a restaurant for carry out. I even sat in a Taco Bell while my puppy raisers were eating and I was extremely well behaved. I went to the Eastern Shore where there is a lot of room to run. I can almost out run my puppy raisers!

Yesterday I went to the neighborhood park and ran a mile. Today I went to 2 pet stores. Everyone came up and wanted to say hello. There were so many toys to choose from! I couldn’t believe it.

My training is going well. I’m getting good at waiting when they tell me to “wait” before going through doors or getting food. I’m still learning “down” but have mastered sit and touch. I think my puppy raisers are learning a lot too! I can’t wait for them to master the commands!!!

Gotta go, so much to do and so little time…
