November was a very fun month for me – I got to go on so many adventures! The month started off like any other with a trip to visit my buddy Remy the golden retriever, but this time I got to stay for a while! My puppy sitters took great care of me and I did my best to tire them out.
Another big adventure was a trip to a great big place called Chicago. Sometimes I think reflections are a bit scary, but I went to see a giant reflective bean and I wasn’t scared at all! We walked all around the city and visited all kinds of cool places. And then I saw the best thing ever…water! Heather says it’s called Lake Michigan, and I really wanted to go swimming in this big lake. Thankfully, I got to play in the water for a bit before I dried off and resumed my service dog duties.
I also got to visit an agility class where I have been practicing “place” on my mat while other dogs run around. It’s really really hard to stay still when I want to play with other dogs, but I’m getting better! When I’m not practicing “place,” I get to play with the agility obstacles. My favorite one is called the A-Frame, and it’s shaped like a big pyramid. I like to run to the very top and stand there because it feels like I’m on top of a mountain!
But my favorite thing ever happened at the end of the month. I got to spend Thanksgiving with some of my favorite people! And I didn’t steal any turkey, I promise! Look below for a photo of me celebrating my second Thanksgiving with a WWII Veteran (recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star) (also known as “Uncle Ralph”)!
See you next month!
