January was a very exciting month. I went to the beach for the very first time, had a puppy swap, and played in snow for the first time also. As for the beach, I loved it! The first time my paws touched the sand, I wasn’t sure if I liked it, but then I realized i can run, and dig, and jump around. I jumped and hopped with joy. We were at the beach for hours. I didn’t want to stop playing. Then I discovered the ocean, how fun! I loved running through the water especially when a small wave would come up. I took the best nap ever when we got back to the condo.
I had a puppy swap this month at my friend Clara’s house. She has so many bones and toys to play with and I went to graduate school twice during the week. I was a little crazy in the mornings, but eventually I settled down. I had fun, but was happy to be back home.
Once home, it was back to training, especially the crate. I am able to “sit, wait, at ease” and come out and sit, then I act like a crazy puppy. I have improved greatly on not jumping on people. I went to the office with my puppy raiser which is in a hospital and I quietly settled as she worked on the computer.
Snow! Wow, i can’t wait to play in snow again. Snow is fun, kinda like the sand at the beach but it smells fresh and cool and a little crunchy but fluffy at the same time. I could have played outside all day. I did get to play ball outside several times in the snow.
I am growing up and getting so big. I love training and learning new things, and I am always ready and willing to go anywhere.
