Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since I last wrote. College life keeps you very busy! I have been learning how to work as a mobility dog lately. I am told that because I’m such a tall dog I will be really good at this job. I don’t really understand too much about all of what this job requires but I know I need to stay very close to my person and stand nice and tall at their side. I have learned a new word “in” – when I am told this, I move so that I am as close as I can to my trainer’s side, and not only do I need to be close but I also need to be straight. This may sound easy but when you are as long as I am it can be a bit of a challenge.
I have gone to many events recently. I went to the opening of the movie Project 22 where I got to meet lots of great people. I walked in the Laytonsville parade with all my other Hero Dogs friends. I also went to Rolling Thunder in D.C. and saw lots of motorcycles; I even got to wave to the President who drove by.
This photo isn’t from my birthday (that will be in July!) – but whenever a college dog has a birthday, we celebrate!
