Wow this month was really super busy! Besides losing a bunch of teeth, I went to school with Lisa almost every single day. On one day in the beginning of December, her classroom was too hot to think. She took me and the students outside to read under some shady trees. Can you believe that’s me with those students? I just sat and listened to them read. They are good readers! I can’t read but I have been practicing my other skills. I also practiced walking up the bleachers at the school football stadium. No problem. They are noisy and shiny but I was okay with it.
This month I also spent a lot of time playing with my buddy Sancho, Hero Dog Scotty, Jake, and my friend Mina, the German Shepherd. She is fun to play with because she likes to run. I can almost keep up with her!
The holidays sure are fun around here. I went to Neal’s family’s house to celebrate Chanukah with lots of people. I met a very small dog and we took a nap together. The next say Lisa and her family took me and Hero Dog Scotty to a Christmas tree farm. Boy that was fun! We got to walk (and run some) around tons of trees. I liked the first one but they kept choosing different ones. When they brought it home Lisa put little sparkly and jingly things on the tree but I couldn’t reach them. It was above my nose. I wonder why?
At the end of the month I got to go to the airport, DCA, and visit the USO club. We walked around the airport and met many people with suitcases going everywhere. Scotty and some of the other Hero Dogs went as well. It was fun but after a while I got tired so we left. On the way home we stopped at a Whole Foods store. Now that’s a fun place! I found all kinds of things on the ground. We left kind of fast. Not sure if Lisa bought anything.
Well, this month was busy but fun. I look forward to January and hopefully some snow. I got a taste of that in December and really liked it!
