This summer Lisa and her family traveled a lot to places I really couldn’t go. But I was lucky enough to go to a puppy sitter’s house several times in July. It was fun meeting other people and their animals. I made friends with other dogs in the house. I also remembered that “the rules are the rules” no matter where I went! But I was super excited to see my puppy raiser family when they returned.
We are taking nice long neighborhood walks. I even got a chance to go to the playground near my house. They have this great slide and now I love going to visit the playground. It was good practice for me to try different surfaces at the playground. They have mulch and a slide and stairs that are metal with holes. There was also a tunnel that I went through. I wasn’t scared at all!
I went to a few big dog classes as well this month, and I’ve been practicing my skills. I also went with Lisa to many meetings around the county at new schools. We practiced going in and out of many kinds of doors. I also had to “settle” a few times while someone else was talking or presenting. I’m very good at “settle!”
Now I’m looking forward to the rest of the summer and the adventures I will get to have. See you soon!
