We have been on many walks. Sometimes I get to go on the long leash and run in the park. I like to feel my ears blow in the wind. It’s usually just me and Alison. Otto has a habit of getting into my space when we are walking. But sometimes Steve will bring Otto with us. Occasionally, Saki will come with us. She doesn’t walk as long as I can so those walks are short.
I am still getting out and about. I went shopping at the Mall with Alison. She was shopping for jeans. Oh boy how boooooooorrrrrriiinnng. I cannot tell you the depths of boredom I reached. No one said hello to me. It was absolutely terrible. But I behaved. I rode up and down the elevator which was fun, but I have to walk by Alison in a special way. I didn’t always get it. Good thing no one else wanted to use the elevator because it took us some time to get in and out.
We visited Golby and Reagan again. I found this really cool box with things floating around in it. I think they are fish. I know what fish are because I am an avid fisher dog. But I couldn’t get to these fish. I “touched” the box a few times, but was told to stop. I upset Spot the algae eater when I jiggled the box.
I went to the MLK Volunteer event. Oh it was fun fun fun! I got to play with many kids. I showed them the “patience” game that Abe taught me. Alison would put treats on my paws and I would wait. The kids thought it was really smart of me. The parents wanted to teach their kids about patience too. I wonder if any of them learned.
Otto and I have been spending a lot of time playing. I am still much smaller than him, but he IS huge. Sometimes he plays while lying down so his size isn’t as much of a factor. I think that is pretty cool of him. Well, February is starting out to be a good month. I will catch-up with you later. Buh-bye
