I have heard of Winter doldrums…I guess it means February. Nobody is really interesting this month. No one wants to go out and play because its too cold. We spend a lot of time inside walking the malls. I like White Flint because they have these cozy areas where I can sit and rest. Alison makes me go up and down the stairs which was kind-of scary the first time I did it back when I was small. Now I am a pro. Well, I thought I was a pro until she changed things! She made me walk slowly down the stairs- step by step. At each step, she gave me a treat. I ran down the last few steps so she made me start all over again.
We rode up and down the elevator. I cant reach the buttons very well, but I am really good with the riding part. I lay down and wait quietly. Alison and I have a game we play at night. I think she is trying to get me to sleep but I am usually not ready so I bring her things. Sometimes she will put what I bring her in a drawer and I have to push the drawer shut. I dont always want to stop when she is ready to sleep so I try to find things that will keep her interested so she will still play.
Eventually though we both get tired.
I went to visit my friends at VCA North Rockville Animal Hospital this month for my annual check-up. I visit VCA quite often for hugs and treats. They help me stay healthy and donate their services to Hero Dogs. Dr. Davis said I was in PERFECT condition. Alison said I was very good, too! I did get my nails trimmed which I absolutely hate, but I got hugs from the ladies afterwards so it wasn’t too bad.
I go to class every Thursday night. I like class now because we are doing fun fun things. I now get under the furniture when I am told. Its a great place to hide out. I also can bring Alison a credit card and stand up on a chair to give it to her. I cant wait to try it out in the stores.
After all my work there is nothing better than rolling aorund on the floor.
