For training class we worked on nicely leash walking and leaving distractions such as food or trash on the ground. It was a little challenging but I worked through it. During these past two months I’ve been working on side, heel, under, paws up, and place.
We also went to Panera Bread, and ate outside with some of our friends. It was lots of fun, but once again Pal got something that smelled so good. I could almost taste the cheese and noodles, oh and not to mention garlic! It was very difficult to stay still while Pal ate her food, but it helped that she rewarded and praised me. Needless to say, it was a ton of fun.
We also went to Harris Teeter. In front of the store was a very big, loud, and long truck, so Pal and I walked past it many times. In the beginning I wasn’t so sure if I liked it, but Pal and Buddy showed me it was OK. They helped me to not be afraid of the truck. After that we went into Harris Teeter and walked around while Buddy shopped for dinner. I helped by picking up what Pal and Buddy dropped. I was surprised they dropped so many things. I enjoyed my shopping day.
We also went to the eyeglass store. Pal and I sat down and met a friendly man as we waited for Buddy. I practiced my “say hello” and good manners. After a little bit of waiting, Buddy said she was ready to go. We headed to my favorite store ever, Pet Valu. We walked up and down the food aisle, and we looked at the adoptable cats. We also checked out the toys as well. Pal said I was a very good dog and we headed home.
All in all I’ve had a terrific month and I can’t wait for another adventure with Pal and Buddy.
