Well I am settling in to my puppy raiser Stacey’s home really nicely. They have a really big dog here, something about a “golden-doodle” they call “Cody”. They say we have similarities but frankly I don’t see it. They took me to the Olney-Sandy Spring Veterinary Hospital and I’m very healthy!
I’m doing pretty good with my crate training. I fuss a little bit, but not for long. I must admit it is pretty secure feeling. Looks like I’m going to be out of the small crate in a week or so cause I’m growing really fast.
I started puppy kindergarten and already have my first best friend, “Cricket”, a labrador. Puppy kindergarten is fun!
I’m leaving for vacation soon and I am going to stay at two different people’s houses. All the people around me say that it is good for me to get used to being in different places and around different people. I hope I have a good time.
Yep, I did! What a blast! Except, I can’t figure out how the new people knew I had the same rules at their house as I do at home. They always have a leash on me, they watch me like a hawk and they wouldn’t let me on their couch or in their beds either. Oh well, I had fun anyway especially playing tennis ball on the kitchen floor. I played by myself for a long time while several people watched and laughed. Not quite sure what was so funny but when I tumbled myself up, over, under and around the kitchen chairs after a tennis ball, they were in tears.
I also met a really big German Shepherd Dog named “Buddy”. Even though he is so big, he was so nice to me. Look! He even let me share his bed and his toys…while he stayed on the floor!
