I spent time on the boat again this summer. After swimming in the ocean, the bay isn’t nearly as nice, but Alison and I still had a good swim. I tried to get in the big tube, but since both of us couldn’t fit in it I chose to swim alongside.
My friends, Jen and Jeff, joined us on the boat a couple of times. No, I do not drink beer on the boat. I was just being lazy and asked Jen for a sip of her water. I have a special bowl of water on the boat, but sometimes I just love my red solo cup! Shout out to Toby!
After a long day on the bay, we go to the Ruddy Duck for dinner. Everyone there knows Steve – it’s a bit weird, all the attention. I behaved myself and settled down while everyone at dinner. I am so quiet that I actually startled a patron who was walking to the door and didn’t see me until she was almost stepping on me! Luckily, Alison was looking out for me and stopped her from stepping on me. She apologized so I gave her a “SAY HELLO” to let her know it was okay.
Alison and I took a trip to Staples at the end of this month. It was packed due to something called “back to school” shopping. There were kids running all over the place not paying attention to their parents. I stayed really close to Alison because no one seemed very happy to be shopping. While we were standing in line I met a young woman who was in a wheelchair. She asked if she could pet me. I didn’t wait for Alison to give me the okay. I know that was bad, but I gave the nice girl a kiss and a paw.
