Life has been so exciting for me and my family this month! First, I started attending graduate school with Noah! We both go to his classes every week and I patiently wait, listen, and nap. I’m looking forward to upcoming classes – I just might earn my MBA too.
Second, you might remember that Jen and Noah are getting hitched soon! I did my best to help with all of the last-minute wedding details to make sure everything goes perfectly. During their wedding and honeymoon, I am going to live with puppy sitter Elsa for a week and a half, and I know I will have a super awesome time! It won’t be long before Mommy and Daddy are married, feeling refreshed from their vacation, and back home with me – can’t wait!
Speaking of puppy sitters, I got to stay with puppy sitter Elizabeth A. for a night and had THE BEST time. I also got to stay with James and Jessica B. for a couple of days, and had the BEST time. (Now they believe Jen when she says I’m a COMPLETELY different dog when at home and during training, compared to when I’m super excited during puppy class!)
Overall, I am absolutely loving city life. Every day we run different errands around the city, and as a result I get to enjoy so many cool new experiences! When we’re out and about, especially when greeting people and dogs I’m fond of, I’ve started to get better about getting overexcited (excitatory peeing). Anyway, I also love spending time at home with my family. Jen and Noah are so delighted that I am finally happy and healthy on new prescription food – no more tummy issues for me! My other favorite thing about daily life is pure and simple fun: I love ANY and ALL balls and playing fetch for hours. I have gotten very good at playing football and fetch!
This month has also been filled with training successes. I have learned to retrieve nearly everything asked of me. Every day I open the door to our beautiful apartment by pushing the handicap button in response to “push.” I also learned to ride the metro with Daddy (I am already accustomed to traveling on the metro with Mommy), with the same rules, the same skills, and the same amount of fun. I love my daily travels!
Finally, while staying with puppy sitters, I spent a little time at Hero Dogs and played beautifully with the newest HD puppy “Louie” – he’s a little black pup who reminds me a little of myself at that age. I think that’s why we get along so well!
So excited to see what September brings!
