Happy Fall everyone! I’m very glad that September brought cooler weather, making my morning walks nice and comfortable. Louis and I even discovered some new hiking trails that I love to go on. Playing outside is more comfortable as well, and I get to run after my ball or Frisbee and get treats for giving them back when I hear “give.” I really enjoy hunting for pine cones, which are a little bit more difficult to give back, but I will for a yummy treat.
September brought some changes to the house in the form of these giant boxes. I wasn’t so sure about them until Laura and Louis opened them up and they were just furniture for something they call a baby. While I wasn’t fond of the stroller, the swing that played music sure was interesting. I even helped Louis put together the crib.
Toward the end of the month I got to go swimming at the base pool before it closed. I enjoyed splashing around and going after balls and Frisbees, but I didn’t like when my paws couldn’t touch the bottom of the pool.
I started to go to work with Louis on some days of the week. I sure like seeing all the people and showing off my skills. Most of the people just sit and stare at computers, so I lay underneath Louis’ desk and wait for him to tell me what I need to do. I have been working on going through doors correctly and picking up and giving items back that Louis and Laura drop on the floor. I’m happy to say I finished my second round of Puppy Kindergarten and was given the ‘ok’ to move on to Puppy 2.
Until next month,
