Happy Spring from Hero Dogs Ambassador “Betsy”

March 31, 2015 By blog-editor

Hero Dogs Ambassador "Betsy"Hi everyone! I hope everyone survived winter all right – I heard it was a tough winter! I saw lots of snow from my window bed that I now have! I really like watching the big snowflakes fall from the sky.

I really love my new window bed – I hang out there a lot during the day, and I can sun bathe as I look out the window. Every once and a while I even see a bird fly by. I also can see the dogs playing outside when they are out on the deck; they sure do like to run around and have a good time!

I have been trying to keep track of all these dogs, too, which is a full time job! Luckily from my window bed I can also see the whole kennel area – this helps me keep track of the dogs when they are inside roaming about. I have lots of dogs to watch over, not only the six kennel dogs but also on occasion Becca and Jennifer have an extra tiny puppy with them. Radar also comes to visit me twice a week which I really enjoy! Don’t tell the others but Radar is still my favorite because he had the best tail! It was always wagging and so much fun to play with!

Amber and Archie are the newest dogs in the kennel and they are a handful! Amber and I get along just fine – I think it’s really funny because she is kind of afraid of me! If Amber is sniffing me or decides to chase me all I have to do is look at her and she will pretend she was not looking at me. Archie, on the other hand, does not know how to show any respect to a sophisticated creature such as myself and he is not my favorite, so I have learned to stay up high when he is loose.

Hero Dogs Ambassador "Betsy"I continue my regular jobs in the kennel which include sampling some dog kibble, just to make sure people are making it right, of course! And keeping small creatures out of the kennel. Sometimes Jennifer gives me a hard time about not having caught any mice, but Becca reminds her that since I moved in the mice have moved out! See, what Jennifer does not know is that I have warned the mice to stay out because this kennel is now being patrolled by a cat! I also like to help with laundry from time to time, especially when it is time to wash the dog vests. I like to check them when they come out of the wash to make sure they smell nice and fresh.

Well, it’s about time for me to take another cat nap in my window bed, so I am off for now. Have a good spring everyone!
