Happy Fall!!!
This month Rosie and I trained outside in Olney. There was a big delivery truck parked along the sidewalk. He was a little noisy when he pulled up. The driver pulled out a ramp and when he went inside to make his delivery, Rosie and I practiced walking up and down the ramp. We practiced “Place” next to a table outside and then going “Under” the chairs and table. Afterwards, everyone went to Panera for breakfast. Rosie and I waited in line at the register and then I lay down nicely under the table. Miss Jennifer gave Robin some of her scone. Robin would drop a little on the floor and tell me to ‘Leave it.’ I only ate a few pieces of it and then I left it on the floor. Rosie and I were very good girls.
I spent a weekend in Richmond visiting my Nana. It was a very long trip in the car, but Robin said I was a good rider.
One night all these kids came to the door dressed up funny. I got scared and barked a lot, but so did Jake and Marley. Robin had to put us all in her room. Afterwards Alex had all his friends over, they were dressed up too. They smelled like candy, but they know me and I know them, so I was not really scared. Everyone said, ‘Trick or Treat.’ I don’t know what that means, but you get candy when you say it. I didn’t get any candy on Halloween, but Robin bought us special treats from my favorite pet store.
Mark has been driving me around town in his car. I go with him to run errands. I need the practice riding in different cars.
I went to see Dr Marcie a few times this month. Robin took Sunny, the cat in to see her. I just rode a long. I sat under the bench andwaited nicely until they called us back. They even weighted me too. I am 53 pounds now.
We had a big storm this month. We even lost power. The wind and rain didn’t bother me at all! Robin was very proud of me. I just need to get use to the garage door opening, that is pretty scary for me!
