October was another great month! My puppy raisers took some vacation days to spend time with family and friends so I got to stay with a couple great Hero Dogs puppy sitters. They took wonderful care of me and I got to make some new friends! Mom and Dad sure appreciated the help so they could go places where I am still too young to go. One of my puppy sitters took me to meet my new sponsor! I am now being sponsored by Long Fence! I feel more like a big Hero Dog every day!
Another family that watched over me also has a chocolate lab named Kendall. We loved playing together and we still meet to have play dates and go on walks together. She is my buddy and allows me to play with her without being too rough, as she is much bigger than I am!! I weigh 36 pounds now and keep getting bigger every day!
I had so much fun going places and meeting new people this month! Did I ever mention how much I like little kids? Most of them like me too and they have been known to drop food everywhere they go. Got to like those little tikes! Mom and Dad take me places to meet people such as Rockville Town Center. I get to meet lots of people there.
My Auntie Linda (we call her Minnie) came to visit us all the way from Oregon. We had fun going places where I was able to go. We went to neat new places such as Longwood Gardens and the National Arboretum. I was on my best behavior in the car and while I was in the gardens. The staff was very friendly and invited me back any time! It sure is pretty in those gardens and I hope we get to go back soon! I love being outside!!
We continued to make daily trips to various parks around the area for my exercise times. I love to run on my long line and to play fetch.
I can get it…
I can get it!!!
I want to play fetch!!!
Come on Dad!
I’ve got it!
I am now back to my regular routine of walks, going to my puppy training classes, finishing up my weekly puppy shots, practicing my commands, and going on my outings and to Hero Dog events. Each day is full of new adventures!!
