I’m growing up and learning so much. I love walking with Gary and I love it even more when Meaghan comes along! The three of us went on a long hike on the Seneca Creek trail down to a really big River called the Potomac.
One of the best things about March was that Gary’s son Brennan came down to help celebrate Gary’s birthday. I remember Brennan from last summer and it was super fun to see him again. We hiked up to the Washington Monument on the Appalachian Trail (Washington wasn’t there but there was a huge pile of stones with really steep stairs — I handled them super easily naturally).
March also had crazy mad weather: there was Rain and Snow and it was warm and it was cold and it was sunny. It made it hard to know what to expect and the some of my favorite trails got so muddy that we had to find new ones. On some of the warmer days Gary brought me out a big pile of sticks. I thought they were all for me but he burned some of them too (I didn’t mind, … too much).
I’m still loving puppy class and it is _so_ super exciting to see my friends and learn more commands. I know April is going to be awesome because we’ll get to start going out and showing people how helpful Hero Dogs can be. I hope that people can come and meet me!
