This month I graduated from Puppy2 training and moved onto Big Dogs training! In Big Dogs training, sometimes we get to go on outings to practice our skills. We practice things like the proper way of getting in and out of cars, how to safely walk through parking lots and what hazards to look for. We go to stores and practice going in and out of automatic doors, to grocery stores and practice using grocery carts, walking through the store and not sniffing all the food items on the shelves and ignoring all the food on the floor! We get a lot of attention from all the shoppers but now that I’m growing up, I need to work on ignoring all the distractions and focus on my puppy raiser.
I attended the Pints 4 Pups Fundraiser for Hero Dogs at the Waredaca Brewery with a bunch of my other Hero Dogs buddies.
I went to my first Orioles game at Camden yards. Here’s a picture of me with my Grandma. She is very proud of me and what I’ve learned so far.
At the end of April I went on my second puppy swap to Becca P.’s house, Clara’s puppy raiser. She took me to my first movie and we sat in the front row! At the end of the swap, Clara came home and we got to play together. I hope I have a playmate on my next puppy swap!!!
Until next month,
