It’s hot and I’m ready for the fall. Before the puppy swap I went to so many places. I was at a huge swimming event where it was raining the entire time. My raiser thought I should go because she knows my veteran will need to take me to places even in pouring down rain. I sat under a table with an umbrella and it didn’t really stop the rain. I was lying on a towel but after awhile it was so soaked that I just sat up the rest of the time.
I also went to a basketball camp and saw about a thousand people around me. I stayed calm and walked with my raisers as kids pet me as I walked by. After the puppy swap (the kids loved having Jaz but missed me like crazy) I went to the orthodontist, a french restaurant, the pool store, the auto parts store, a home store and the pediatrician’s office. It started out as a whirlwind because my raisers decided almost everywhere they go, I’ll go. Then I got sidelined and was out for a couple of weeks but still running on the farm and walking down city streets.
The commands we’re working on are “come”, “drop”, “back”, “say hello”, “pull”, “give”, “place”, “stay”, “leave it!”. Things are starting to get back to normal. The kids are ready to go back to school and I’m ready to get back to some serious work.
